All refund requests must be submitted to the HDSC office in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow four (4) weeks for refund approval and processing. For online registrations, refunds will be to the credit card used. All other refunds will be issued by cheque. In the event that HDSC is unable to field a team or provide a suitable program alternative to a player, a full refund will be issued. Players will be refunded any difference in program fee if applicable once player placement sessions are completed and rosters are set. Refund requests made due to special circumstances (family transfer, injury, etc) will be issued at the discretion of the HDSC Executive. No refunds will be issued for players who are suspended or expelled from HDSC. No refunds will be issued to players who fail to return their jersey.

Grassroots Program (U04 / U06 / U08 / U10)
Refund requests received before October 14th - Full refund less a $35 administration fee
Refund requests received between October 14th and November 30th - 50% of registration fee
Skill Centre / U12C / Youth / Senior Programs
Refund requests received by October 14th - Full refund less $60 administration fee
Refund requests received between October 14th and October 31st - 75% of their registration fee
Refund requests received between November 1st and November 30th – 50% of their registration fee
Refund requests received after November 30th are ineligible for a refund, unless due to medical reasons. A doctor's note must accompany the refund request. If approved, the refund will be pro-rated based on the player's length of participation in the program.
