Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club is pleased to announce the players and volunteers who went above and beyond during the 2025 Summer season! It was a very difficult decision for our selection committee as many players and volunteers were nominated and all put in an amazing effort to make their teams and our club the best they can be.  

 

Dunbrack Skill Centre (U8 - U11) Player of the Year:  Kimberly Chaulk

Awarded to a female or male U8 to U11 Skill Centre player who best exemplifies the true sport principles: go for it, play fair, respect others, keep it fun, stay healthy, include everyone and give back.

 

Dunbrack Development (AA) Player of the Year:  Chrispin Lupapula

Recognizes a female or male player at the AA level that has exhibited exceptional performance in the sport, representing their team with respect, integrity and excellence.

 

Dunbrack Development (A) Player of the Year:  Costa Philopoulos 

Recognizes a female or male player at the A level that has exhibited exceptional performance in the sport, representing their team with respect, integrity and excellence.

 

Dunbrack Community (B) Player of the Year:  Emmanuel Pinto

Recognizes a female or male U12 to U15 Community player with outstanding performance in their stage of development and embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of respect, inclusion, quality and integrity.

 

Dunbrack Senior (AAA/AA) Player of the Year:  Abdul (Junior) Wurie

Recognizes a female or male Senior player at either level of the game who has exhibited exceptional performance and embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of respect, inclusion, quality and integrity. 

 

Dunbrack Skill Centre (U8 - U11) Coach of the Year:   Fernando Sablone

Recognizes a trained coach who is working or committed to LTPD stages Active Start, FUNdamentals or Learn to Train and directs his/her program with sportsmanship and within the principles of the Long Term Player Development plan. This coach embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of player-centered, respect, inclusion, innovation, quality and integrity.

 

Dunbrack Development (AA) Coach of the Year:  Natalie Brothers

Recognizes a certified or trained coach working at the AA level. The coach should aspire to further growth in the Development stream of coaching. This coach embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of player-centered, respect, inclusion, innovation, quality and integrity. 

 

Dunbrack Development (A) Coach of the Year:  Jennifer Cameron

Recognizes a certified or trained coach working at the A level. The coach should aspire to further growth in the Development stream of coaching. This coach embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of player-centered, respect, inclusion, innovation, quality and integrity. 

 

Dunbrack Community (B) Coach of the Year:  Kismet Hartlen

Recognizes a trained coach at the B level who is committed to player development and instilling a lifelong passion for the game. This coach embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of player-centered, respect, inclusion, innovation, quality and integrity.

 

Dunbrack Volunteer of the Year:  Brendan Duggan

Recognizes an individual that has given their time to impact, grow and support the game. This person embodies the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club values of player-centered, respect, inclusion, innovation, quality and integrity. 

 

Dunbrack Team of the Year:  Dunbrack U12AA Boys Red

Recognizes a Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club female/male team's outstanding performance in the team's respective stage of development. Open to teams of all levels of play.
